The marble is a compact metamorphic rock formed of limestone rocks that subjected to high temperatures and pressures, achieve a high degree of crystallization and hardness with the action of time. The basic component of the marble is calcium carbonate, whose content exceeds 90%; the others components are considered impurities and are those that give great variety of colors in the marbles and define their physical characteristics. After a process of polishing by stone abrasion, the marble reaches a high level of natural brightness, that is to say, without waxes or other chemical components.
Marble has been used for millennia in the creation of habitable environments for humans. Nowadays it is a complement of easy access enhancement in a construction of durable character and in some cases exquisite for details in decoration, such as sculptures, bath tubs floorings carpers, wall coverings etc.
